Advanced surfacing in automotive design

Introduction:

Advanced surfacing design course uses CATIA Advanced Surface Design module (GSD workbench), and helps the users produce quality curves or improve imported wireframe. This course also educates the users about how to generate quality surfaces from the wireframe geometry and effortlessly associate the surfaces with developing a topology. This software also teaches how to examine the surface quality and resolve the imperfections, in addition to supervising surfaces in a multi-model environment.

Learnings covered under this course:

On completion of this course, the students will gain expertise in:
Operation of the GSD workbench
Creating good quality curves or improved imported wireframe
Creating a suitable quality surface based on sound wireframe geometry
Assembling, relimiting and effortlessly linking the surfaces to get a topology
Examine the surface quality and rectifying the discrepancies
Managing surfaces in a multimodal environment
